Over the last decade, aerial lifts like boom lift and scissor lifts has played an important role in the construction and industrial works. These devices give a nice comfort to the workmen to perform their work safely at heights as compared to ladders or other objects which are used for the same purpose. These devices are mostly used to paint and repair the walls or structures. Working at heights always carries risks, so you need to operate such devices with safety and accuracy. To get a licence to operate such devices, you need to complete the Boom Lift Scissor Lift Training from a Registered Training Organisation. After getting the high-risk work licence, you can apply for the jobs to operate Boom Lift and Scissor Lift in the different regions of Australia.


Once you'll start working on such devices you need to follow and remember a few things to ensure the safety at the workplace. You'll find that most of these safety tips in the Boom Lift Scissor Lift Course. These are:

1. Don't use boom lift as a crane or alternative device

2. Never use other platforms like ladders on the boom lift to reach additional heights

3. Complete a pre-start device inspection like a battery, fluid levels, guardrails, etc.

4. Never lift more weight than the device designed for

5. Stop the unauthorized use of the lift

6. Check for broken parts and other instruments
